About Feed Families

Feed Families is a community-driven initiative with a simple mission: fighting hunger in communities across Chicagoland. We believe that access to food is a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Spearheaded in 2024 by a collaboration between As One We Can (AOWC) Foundation & Spark Social, our organization has grown from serving 100 families per week to reaching thousands of individuals across multiple communities.

What makes us different is our commitment to dignity and nutrition. We don't just provide food—we provide healthy, culturally appropriate meals that nourish both body and spirit.

How Your Donation Works

Your generosity follows a simple path from donation to grocery bag. Here's how we make sure your contribution creates the biggest impact.

You Donate

Choose a donation amount that works for your budget. Every dollar counts and helps provide nutritious groceries for families.

We Source & Pack

We partner with local suppliers to purchase and/or receive donations of fresh ingredients. We then pack grocery bags with enough food to make 4-6 meals per person.

Families Receive Groceries

Grocery bags are distributed to families in need through our network of Community Centers, Alderman Offices, Schools, and direct delivery programs.
